Refund Policy

1. Overview
Brainop is committed to delivering exceptional value through our enterprise intelligence platform. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing to any Brainop plan.
As an enterprise software provider, our services involve significant setup, onboarding, and infrastructure provisioning. This policy reflects the nature of enterprise software relationships and is designed to be fair to both parties.
2. Subscription Billing
All Brainop subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan). By subscribing, you authorize Brainop to charge your designated payment method at the start of each billing cycle.
- Monthly subscriptions are charged 30 days in advance
- Annual subscriptions are charged at the start of the annual term
- Setup fees and onboarding fees are charged at the time of contract signing
3. Free Trial
Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. We will notify you before your trial converts to a paid subscription. If you cancel during the free trial period, no charge will be applied.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Technical failures: If our platform experiences a sustained outage (exceeding the SLA guarantee) attributable to our infrastructure, you may be eligible for a prorated credit.
- Billing errors: If you are charged incorrectly due to a system error on our part, we will promptly correct the charge and issue a full refund of the erroneously charged amount.
- Cancellation within 7 days: New customers who cancel within 7 days of their first paid subscription period and have not begun the onboarding process may request a full refund of their first month's subscription fee.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally non-refundable:
- Subscription fees for periods already rendered
- Onboarding and implementation fees
- Custom development or integration work
- Setup fees
- Annual subscriptions beyond the 7-day cancellation window
- Any fees paid for services consumed in full
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting your dedicated account manager or emailing billing@brainop.io. Upon cancellation:
- Your access to the platform will remain active through the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- Data export is available for 30 days post-cancellation
- Annual plan cancellations are subject to the terms of your enterprise agreement
7. Service Credits
In lieu of refunds, Brainop may offer service credits applicable to future billing cycles. Credits are issued at our discretion and are non-transferable. Credits expire upon account termination.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged or are entitled to a refund not addressed in this policy, please contact us at billing@brainop.io within 30 days of the charge. Include your account details and a description of the issue. We aim to resolve all billing disputes within 5 business days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice. Your continued use of our Services following notification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
